You’re never going to believe this, but Fox News actually admitted that Trump was telling a bold-faced lie!
Sorry, I should have warned you to sit down before divulging that information. I just got a little excited… I’m sorry!
In what is a far too regular of an occurrence, Trump took to Twitter to brag about how awesome he is, using the most trusted tool: lying. This time he claimed that…

This is, as are a vast amount of things that Trump says, false. This falls into the category of one those lies that are so easily debunked that you are still a little shocked that he even says these kinds of things. Surely he doesn’t think so little of his supporters that he believes that none of them know how to look things up? Sure, a small minority of people might just believe everything he says, but I have to imagine that most people are smart enough to realize by now that his claims like this should always be double checked. It just boggles the mind.

Anyways… on to the real story.
After Trump posted this, Fox News Research posted a reply. It’s incredible:

Fox News calling straight bullshit on their boy!
I’m sure it’s happened before and I simply didn’t notice it. And even though they called out his lie I highly doubt that they are going to all of a sudden start criticizing the man. It was just such a massive falsehood that they had to say something. They probably just did it so they could point to it later and say “Look, we criticize Trump too! We aren’t biased.” Which, of course, they are about as biased as any organization can be.
Still, I’m big enough of a person to give credit where credit is due. And Fox News… today you surprised me, and I tip my cap to you, good sirs. I only wish you could continue this wonderful practice of telling the whole story and not letting our president get away with his lies. A bit more honesty from you would make the whole world a better place.
